2017 Christmas in Gore Park

The holidays are fast approaching & what better way to get in the Christmas spirit than to take part in the festivities that can be found in Gore park.


On Friday, December 1st from 5-7pm will be the annual lighting of the Christmas Tree of Hope and festive lighting in Gore Park. In addition to the lighting of the tree at 6 pm, the event will feature live music, Santa Selfies and a miniature train ride around Gore Park. The train will continue to offer free rides daily until December 17 fro 2-7pm each day. The Salvation Army will be serving hot chocolate & apple cider on December 1. This is a free event. The public is encouraged to support the spirit of the season by dropping off unwrapped toys or cash donations to Gore Park on December 1, 2017 between 6 am and 6 pm or directly to the CHML/Y108/95.3 Fresh Radio station office (875 Main St.W.). The Christmas Tree of Hope event supports the CHML/Y108/95.3 Fresh Radio Children’s Fund.

In addition to these celebrations the Downtown Hamilton BIA will also be presenting The Christmas Market in Gore Park Friday December 1 from 5-9pm and Saturday, December 2 & Sunday, December 3 from 12-6pm. Get a head start on that holiday shopping!
