Canada Coast to Coast – June 15 to 17

Save the date!  The Downtown Hamilton BIA will be Celebrating Canada Coast to Coast right in Gore Park.  From Thursday, June 15 to Saturday, June 17 the park will be packed full of activities.

 

On Thursday, June 15th join your friends and neighbors in downtown Hamilton for a community picnic in Gore Park and an evening unlike any other. Bring your own dinner to enjoy under a beautiful tent right in the park. The evening will include a performance by the Hamilton Ariel Groupand their APOIDEA show. Comedy magician Graeme Reed will also be on hand to delight guests. The evening will begin around 5:30pm, tickets are $10 each. Attendees can bring any food and non-alcoholic beverages they wish (tables, chairs and place settings will be provided). Tickets are available via the BRUHA website, be sure to visit our website for takeout specials closer to the date!

 

Friday, June 16th and Saturday, June 17th will continue the celebration with two days full of free activities in Gore Park including the Great Canadian Lumberjacks Show, Fishing Friendzy casting, Westfield Heritage Village pioneer activation, crafts and much more. Entertainment will be on stage both days at 12pm, 3:30 pm and 8pm! Entertainment includes performances by the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts, Little Peter and the Elegants, Trio Del Fuego, The Milkmen & The 2%, and a custom musical showcase paying tribute to Canadian artists through local musicians. All this would not be possible without additional funding support provided by The Province of Ontario, Ontario 150, Ontario 150 Community Celebrations Program.
