Known for their live music and delicious food, 33 Bowen is always a great choice, and they’re going even bigger for the CCMA’s with a Canadian Country Artist Showcase all weekend! Their showcase runs from noon – 1 am on Sept. 7th and 8th and noon – 4 pm on Sept. 9th and will include over 50 CCMA artists. They also have special after party shows on Friday and Saturday night starting at 9pm. This, plus some extra special country-themed dishes (catfish anyone?) means 33 Bowen is sure to impress.
Is great food what really soothes your soul? Then Berkley North is the place to be. Voted as one of Canada’s top 100 restaurants their food is as divine as the atmosphere on their patio. On Sept 8th they’ll be hosting one of Hamilton’s favourite country acts – Ginger St. James.
Dirty Dog Saloon
Last but certainly not least is our very own country bar – Dirty Dog Saloon. With a coyote ugly style bar and a mechanical bull, you’re sure to be entertained all night. Come let loose and you’ll be two-stepping in no time.
Food and Drink
If country music just isn’t quite your thing, there’s plenty of food and drink options to keep you satisfied.
Toast Wine Bar will be serving up some Country Styled cocktails throughout the week. Pairing one of those with their Magnum Monday hot dogs is a recipe for a good time!
