Local Artist Feature: Scott McDonald

Scott McDonald is considered by many in Hamilton’s street art community to be one of the first to decorate the steel city, and one of the first to get in trouble for said decorating! Scott has been a huge advocate for street art, from lobbying to get Beasley Skate Park as a legal place to paint, to getting grants put in place for local artists, many today have benefitted from Scott’s work. Currently he spends most of his time on the Work In Progress festival transforming one of Downtown Hamilton’s death row buildings into Canada’s largest mural!
