Summer on King William Street is Almost Here!

The King William Street Summer, presented by the City of Hamilton in collaboration with the Downtown Hamilton BIA, is an annual pedestrianization of King William Street between James Street North and Hughson Street North. After seeing great success in the inaugural run of 2024, the road closure has continued to expand each year with more programming to enjoy and fun to be had!

The reimagined space will feature outdoor public seating, dynamic programming and a welcoming atmosphere designed to bring the community together. As part of the City’s broader downtown revitalization and economic development goals, this initiative will create a lively destination for all.

The road will be closed from July 13th through September 13th, kicking off with elements of Hamilton’s annual Fringe Festival and closing out with Supercrawl. Full programming and schedule details coming soon — check back weekly for updates!
