The Downtown Hamilton BIA is looking for vendors to be a part of the 2023 Gore Park Summer Promenade!
The Gore Park Summer Promenade is an outdoor music festival that takes place in the heart of downtown, designed to be a welcoming and inviting place for people to gather during the weekday. This year the Summer Promenade will take place every Thursday from May 25 to August 31, running from 12 to 6 pm. We are looking for a variety of vendors to attend the Summer Promenade, ranging from artisans to information-based and community non-profits. As a vendor your business will help transform Gore Park into a space of activity, by adding to the already blossoming art scene and getting people to see Gore Park as a welcoming centre for entertainment and commerce.
If you are interested in being a vendor at the 2023 Gore Park Summer Promenade, please fill out an application here. Applying does not guarantee you a spot, and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. If accepted you will receive additional details and instructions, including a vendor agreement and a map of Gore Park. Vendor Fees: The fees for a 10×10 space are as follows:
- $30/per day for artisans and information-based vendors
- $15/per day for community non-profit groups
- Free each day for Downtown Hamilton BIA business members
Additional Details
- Vendors are required to bring their own table and tent if necessary. The Downtown Hamilton BIA can provide chairs. Tents must be weighted down against the wind.
- Vendors are expected to be present from 12 to 6 pm during their scheduled date.
- There will be no parking in Gore Park during the event. There are parking lots and on-street parking meters available close by.
- There will be no security in Gore Park during the event.
- You will receive more details once confirmed.
Fine Print
The vendor hereby indemnifies and hold harmless the Gore Park Summer Promenade, the organizer, and their respective volunteers, sponsors, employees, contractors, subcontractors, officers and directors (collectively, the “indemnified parties”), and each of them, from and against any liability, claim, damages, loss, or expense (including attorney’s fees) incurred or suffered by any indemnified person that is caused by or arises from (a) any claims, injury, death, damage to any person (including spectators) or his or her property (including persons or property of the vendor’s officers, agents or employees or any person associated with the vendor) received, done or occurring in, on or about any portion of the premises on which the Gore Park Summer Promenade, is located or arising out of the vendor’s participation in the 2023 Gore Park Summer Promenade; (b) any negligent act or omission by the vendor, any person associated with the vendor or the vendor’s participation in the 2023 Gore Park Summer Promenade, and all employees, subcontractors and suppliers of the vendor; or (c)any breach of the vendor’s representations, warranties, or obligations herein.
