Part 3: Valentine’s Day, Downtown Hamilton Style

Today is the first day of February, and this means that Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching. There are now less than two weeks until February 14th, a day designed to celebrate love in all of its forms. Many people take this as an opportunity to have an extravagant or fun celebration, and thankfully there are many businesses in downtown Hamilton that can help make this day as special as possible. This means that you can show both the important people in your life and the incredible businesses in downtown Hamilton some love simultaneously!

One of the most stressful parts of Valentine’s Day is gift-giving, as there is pressure to get a gift that the recipient will love. Thankfully you do not have to look any further than downtown Hamilton for perfect gifts that anyone in your life is sure to love and appreciate. One unique gift is paying to have your loved one get their nails done, and Happy Nails would be the perfect place to visit. Located at 8 James Street North, this nail salon offers a variety of services such as manicures, pedicures, and acrylics, and they are sure to leave your loved one feeling and looking incredible. One staple of Valentine’s Day is going out for a delicious dinner, and thankfully any one of the incredible restaurants in downtown Hamilton will provide great food and atmosphere for a romantic night out. One amazing option for a Valentine’s Day meal is to visit Conversate, located at 38 King William Street. This steak and seafood restaurant is offering a special four-course dinner that is accompanied by live music from violinist Viera Zmiyiwsky, which will surely prove to be an enchanting night. There are two seatings at 5:30 and 8:30 pm, and you can choose from amuse-bouches, starters, entrees, and desserts from their set menu at a cost of $125 per person. Another incredible option for a delicious Valentine’s Day dinner is Mystic Ramen, located at 51 King William Street. This restaurant focuses on small-batch ramen, and it is sure to act as a delicious and warm remedy to these cold winter months. They will be open for dinner from 5 to 9 pm, offering appetizers, desserts, cocktails, and sake in addition to their signature ramen. If you are looking for a fun and exciting event to attend for Valentine’s Day, one incredible option is Escape Manor, located at 103 King Street East. They offer axe throwing and escape rooms in addition to food and drinks, acting as the perfect one-stop shop for all of your Valentine’s Day plans. In addition to their axe-throwing sessions, their escape room themes include Prohibited, The Asylum, The Final Viewing, and The Magician’s Assistant, each one promising to be a unique and exhilarating way to spend Valentine’s Day.
