Happy 2024 everyone! As we all know Downtown Hamilton is constantly evolving at a rapid pace, and last year was no exception. There were a variety of changes within the downtown core in 2023, especially toward the end of the year. Unfortunately, some of these changes may have been lost in the busyness of the holiday season, and you may be missing out on some incredible new businesses within the downtown core. Food and Drink
Chaat Ter Box (129 King Street East): This restaurant specializes in Indian street food, with flavours inspired by Mumbai and Gujarat. Their menu includes items such as schwan hakka noodle sandwiches, samosa chaat, masala puff/patty, and dabeli, among others. Northern China Traditional Snack (9 John Street North): As the name suggests, this restaurant focuses on traditional dishes from Northern China, with dishes that are sure to impress. The menu features items such as Lanzhou Fermented Toufu Prok Rice, Northwest Sour-soup Dumpling and Beijing Loutus Root Flour Soup, and more.
