Over at 17 John Street North, Amici is proving that size-inclusive style can be both fashion-forward and easy to wear. Their unisex range runs from M to 5XL, offering everything from slick streetwear-inspired pieces to laid-back staples that look just as good at brunch as they do on the runway. Amici designs with all bodies in mind.
Founded in Hamilton, the brand has already carved out a place in the city’s fashion scene. Their collections are clean and minimal. It’s a look that works for everyday and feels special enough to hang onto for years.
Shopping here is an experience. The space is warm and open, with wood floors, soft lighting, and just the right amount on the racks so you can focus on each piece. The team is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and if you stick around a bit, you might be handed an espresso to sip while you browse. And at the cash desk, a Labubu’s keep watch.
Amici is also a hub for local collaboration. A few days a week, Neat Heat sets up in-store to buy vintage athletic shoes, and the shop plans to host pop-ups and vendor showcases, giving other small businesses a platform, complete with in-store promotion through photos and video.
Amici is active beyond their four walls (and website), too. You’ll see their looks on the runway at upcoming events like the Supercrawl Fashion Show and Moda Italia Fashion Show.
They’re open daily from 1 to 8 pm, so stop by, check out what’s new, and maybe leave with a fresh fit, a good espresso, and a Labubu hanging from your bag.
