Kinton Ramen has officially opened at 50 King William St, and we stopped by to check it out.
The space is bright and minimalist, with tall windows, natural wood tables, and a checkerboard accent wall that gives it a clean, modern feel. A neon sign near the front reads “A Bowl of Happiness,” which feels pretty accurate.
We grabbed a table and looked over the menu, which has a lot to choose from. We started with the Pork Donburi, which arrived packed with smoky, savoury flavour. Honestly, this alone is worth the visit. We could eat it every day.

When it comes to ramen, you’re in control. First, pick your base- pork, chicken, beef, or veggie. Then choose your broth (shoyu, miso, spicy garlic, or spicy jalapeño), your noodle type, and any extras. If you’re not sure where to start, the staff are friendly and happy to walk you through it.
We went with the Pork Shoyu Ramen, plus corn and an egg. The broth was rich and satisfying without being too heavy, and the pork had that perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture. Everything about it felt comforting and deeply satisfying. You could tell the flavours had been developed with care, not rushed. And yes, you’ll leave full.

We wrapped it all up with two scoops of matcha ice cream. The serving size is just right after a big bowl of food!

If you’re looking for a good deal, check out their combo specials. The Meal for One includes a ramen, drink, and your choice of gyoza or Tokyo fries. Or bring a friend and go for the Meal for Two, which gets you two bowls, two drinks, and a shared side. There’s even a combo for four if you’ve got the whole crew.
Other standouts on the menu include the Spicy Garlic Beef Ramen, Chicken Miso, Veggie Spicy Jalapeño, and Tokyo Fries topped with bonito flakes and shredded nori. You’ll also find crispy karaage, edamame, and takoyaki if you want to mix and match.
They’re open daily from 11:30 AM to 11:00 PM, so there’s plenty of time to stop in.
