Part 20: The Return of the Halloween Spooktacular
The Downtown Hamilton BIA is excited to have the Halloween Spooktacular return for 2023! This event takes place on Friday, October 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Gore Park, designed to be fun for the whole family. Visitors will find the park transformed into a spooky spot that is sure to get everyone into the Halloween spirit, complete with plenty of fun, free activities for everyone to enjoy. There will be a variety of amusement opportunities throughout the night for visitors to enjoy, with both large-scale attractions and smaller Halloween-themed activities, ensuring that everyone can find something that they will enjoy. Visitors can take turns navigating the hay maze before taking a ride on the spinning pumpkin, both exciting attractions that are sure to start the night off on a great note. DJ Seema will be hosting a DJ dance party while aerialists and a magician roam the park, bringing the spooky vibes with them. You can interact with the pirates at their ship before visiting the pumpkin decorating station, and children will be able to take their pumpkins home with them when finished. If you approach the end of the night and are looking for a memento of the festivities, you can have your face painted before heading over to the photo booth for a picture-perfect souvenir. No Halloween celebration is complete without candy, so pop by the prize wheel and spin to win!
All ages are welcome at this event, and we encourage every attendee to dress up in their favourite Halloween costume. The Halloween Spooktacular is designed to be a fun and welcoming event for those in the downtown core, and we invite everyone to join us in Gore Park to partake in the festivities.
