Regardless of whether you live, work, or just visit in the downtown core, you know that it is bustling with exciting things happening wherever you turn. While there are plenty of one-off large-scale events, some of the businesses within the downtown core offer amazing events that regularly occur each week. There are enough of these weekly events for every day of the week, meaning that you will never get bored while in the downtown core! Continue reading for some ideas to add to your weekly schedule.
MONDAYS
On Mondays of each week, Electric Diner (28 James Street North) hosts Music Bingo with Bingolivia! Music Bingo has four rounds, and all you need to participate is a smartphone. It is free to play, with a minimum spend of $20 per person. To get a spot, book a table or walk in between 7 or 8 p.m. each Monday. This event is a great way to kick off your week and test your knowledge! TUESDAYS
Each Tuesday of the week The Brow Room (61 King Street East) has a special deal as part of their Weekly Promos. The promo for Tuesdays is a Lash Lift and Tint for $70, and this service regularly costs $85 every other day of the week. These weekly promos allow you to better explore the services that The Brow Room offers, and you are sure to leave looking and feeling great! WEDNESDAYS
If you are looking for an event to attend on Wednesdays, stop by Mystic Ramen (51 King William Street) for Tebasaki Wings Wednesdays. During Wednesdays you can enjoy Tebasaki Wings, $6 Asahi and Sumo Wrestling projected on the big screen while you enjoy your meal, running each week from 5 p.m. to close. THURSDAYS
On Thursdays of each week Sankofa Restaurant & Lounge (92 Jackson Street East) hosts Thirsty Thursdays. During Thirsty Thursdays you can enjoy great vibes, delicious food, $5 beers and $3.50 mix drinks. This event runs until 11:30 p.m. each week, and you can get on the guestlist here. FRIDAYS
If you are looking to kick off the weekend in style, visit Zen Lounge (69 John Street South) on Friday for Fiesta Fridays. This event runs from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., and is sure to feature great music, an exhilarating atmosphere, and an overall great time. Say goodbye to the work week and hello to the weekend! SATURDAYS
Saturdays of each week at Club 77 (77 King William) are Vice Saturdays! Vice Saturdays feature Hip Hop and Top 40, in addition to amazing vibes and a great crowd. The club has everything you could ever need for a great night out, including plenty of room for dancing, DJs, music acts, bottle service, and more! SUNDAYS
To end your week on the perfect note, visit Bardō (14 James Street North) on Sundays of each week for their All You Can Eat Brunch. The brunch service runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and includes options such as a variety of drinks, on the buffet options such as yogurt parfait and cedar plank salmon, and a variety of a-la-care options that include eggs, savoury and sweet categories. For $49 each, you can enjoy 2 eye openers and all-you-eat a la carte, all sure to be delicious!
