The Downtown Hamilton BIA is offering FREE walking tours throughout September!

Take this opportunity to explore downtown Hamilton while learning about its past with a spooky twist from an experienced tour leader. Currently, tours are available for:
- Friday, September, 10 @ 7pm – Fully Booked
- Friday, September 17 @ 7pm – Fully Booked
- Friday, September 24 @ 7pm – Fully Booked
The tours are free and available on a first-come-first-served basis with a maximum of 10 people per tour. Pre-registration is required to attend. Please email us here with your name and which date you would like to sign up for.
Tours are approx 90 minutes long and run rain or moon-shine. Bring an umbrella if there’s a drizzle. Dress comfortably with comfy walking shoes. Photography is allowed, however camcorders and video recording devices are prohibited. Face masks are required during this tour to protect guides and guests. Attendees can meet in Gore Park where they will be able to grab a complimentary beverage for the start of the tour.
Downtown Hamilton walking tours are brought to you in partnership with the Downtown Hamilton BIA and Ghost Walks Hamilton. Ensure you are maintaining physical distancing during the walk with those outside of your household and please wear a mask to attend. Please do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, have travelled outside of Canada within 14 days or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive or exhibited signs of COVID-19.
The Fine Print
Please note by attending the free tours you agree to the following terms of service (Release of Liability Waiver)
Voluntary Participation – I understand and confirm that my participation in a
Ghost Walks (HH Paranormal Inc) walking tour is voluntary. I am in good health
and suffer from no physical or mental condition that would make me susceptible to injury or
disability while participating in the tour.
Understanding Risks – I am aware of the risks, dangers and hazards involved in my
participation in a Ghost Walks (HH Paranormal Inc) walking tour. I understand that the Ghost
Walks (HH Paranormal Inc) walking tours take place in public venues and areas under conditions
largely beyond the control of Ghost Walks (HH Paranormal Inc) guides and supervisors, and the
Company.
Potential risks may include, but are not limited to, uneven walking surfaces, potholes, raised
path edges, wet or slippery ground, steps, curbs, low lighting, narrow walkways, traffic
movement, road crossings, diversions due to construction or exposure to weather conditions.
Assuming Risks – I assume all risks involved in participation in a walking tour provided by Ghost
Walks (HH Paranormal Inc). I accept personal responsibility for any liability, injury, loss, or
damage in any way connected with my participation in a Ghost Walks (HH Paranormal Inc)
walking tour.
Release of Liability – I release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Ghost Walks (HH
Paranormal Inc), its principals, affiliated entities, parent companies, subsidiaries, present and
former employees, owners, officers, members, managers, partners, contractors, insurers,
shareholders, and directors (collectively “Released Entities”) from any and all claims, actions,
damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses for death, injury, loss or damage of property, in
any way arising out of my participation in a Ghost Walks (HH Paranormal Inc) walking tour,
including, without limitation, any and all claims resulting from the negligence of the Released
Entities.
Indemnity Agreement – I indemnify and hold harmless the Released Entities from any loss,
liability, damage or cost that they may incur for losses and damages which may be brought
against me or against any of them by anyone claiming to be injured (including death) or whose
property is damaged as a result of my actions arising from or during a Ghost Walks (HH
Paranormal Inc) walking tour.
If any portion of this Waiver is held to be invalid it is agreed that the balance of the Agreement
will remain valid and enforceable
